BioThis Journal serves as a compilation of blogs of Russian-speaking residents of northern Israel, translated into English. All of these blogs were started prior to the launch of the current military campaign in Lebanon. The authors describe how the war has been affecting their daily living.
The goal of this blog is to let as many people as possible have a glimpse into the moods, aspirations and daily lifes of the people of Northern Israel, who are living under the ongoing barrage of Hizbullah rockets, as well as their opinions about the events.
This blog does not aspire to create an artificial picture of the events in order to evoke this or another set of emotions in its readers. This is not a war being advertised, it is a war being described.
